Mr. Liam McLaren, President of the Tasmanian University Student Association and co-founder of the Tasmanian University Environment Society, is a passionate advocate for sustainability and regenerative agriculture. Hailing from Smithton, Tasmania, and currently based in Hobart, Liam is completing his honours in a Bachelor of Science – Geography. His dedication to environmental stewardship is evident through his leadership in establishing and growing student-led sustainability initiatives, including the highly successful annual Environmental Careers Expo.

  • Co-founded the Tasmanian University Environment Society, growing it to over 150 members and organising over 40 events.

  • As President of the Tasmanian University Student Association, ensured the organisation remained ethically invested, embedding sustainable event planning across the organisation.
