This year marks a special milestone as the Green Gown Awards Australasia are hosted by a TAFE for the very first time. More than a celebration of sector-wide finalists and winners, this unique event will spotlight the future of sustainability skills, with TAFE NSW showcasing innovation across disciplines – from fashion and floristry to electric vehicle training.
We are excited to welcome finalists and sustainability champions from across the sector to the TAFE NSW Ultimo Campus in Sydney for this landmark celebration.
Nature Partner – Greenfleet
We are proud to welcome Greenfleet as the Nature Partner for the Awards! Greenfleet is an environmental not-for-profit organisation that has delivered climate action for over 25 years. They plant native, biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to restore nature and capture carbon emissions on behalf of their supporters. Protected for up to 100 years, these forests restore habitat for wildlife and help fight the impacts of climate change, while partnerships with local communities and Traditional Owners create broad benefits for the country and the communities in which we live and work.
For this year’s Awards, Greenfleet is planting 40 native trees in honour of our finalists and contributing $2 per attendee to offset the event. Greenfleet will deliver climate action that removes carbon through native biodiverse forest restoration in Australia ensuring the celebration contributes sustainably for everyone who attends.
